With the latest success of the DMC-600 and DMC-600SE, we have released a new software upgrade to further improve upon the capabilities of the DMC.
The new software adds some under the hood operational enhancements as well as a brand new SETUP MENU. The setup menu allows for changing the volume output to Master or Independent. This is extremely usefully as Independent Mode allows each input to be volume matched or changed independently (when using the DMC as a source). The Master Mode sets the output volume the same for all sources as you change volume (when using the DMC as a preamp). The IR menu allows the user to set active IR’s (front, rear, both) depending on installation.

Owners can either do the upgrade themselves, or return their DMC to their local dealer* or to Cary Audio**.
